LARS is a low cost Plug-And-Fly fully autonomous mini UAV. It comes with factory installed front and belly video cameras (belly camera can also store FullHD video) and has been engineered to simplify its setup and operation up to the point where neither training nor specially qualified users are required for its operation, furthermore, it can be safely operated by a single user. LARS features hand launch take-off and belly landing, both operations are fully autonomous with no need of manual control.
Its tough construction and durable material protects payload and prevents from damage in usual transport and handling operations.
Custom designed and manufactured airborne electronics provide the highest level of reliability, robustness, and integration, leaving a large open space in the fuselage area to accomodate customer's payload.
LARS UAV is provided with a rugged full-featured integrated Ground Control Station (GCS). The software to operate LARS has been developed to follow our philosophy of simplifying its operation to the extent possible involving only drag-and-drop waypoints and a few mouse clicks for the whole operation. Permanent live video feed is shown in the GCS screen from any of the onboard cameras.
