Our company has produced boats since 1960 and we are among those who have the most experience with the production of plastic boats in Norway. Since 1982, we have concentrated on rotational moulding in polyethylene and we have specialized in boats with sandwich construction. We are Norway’s largest producer of canoes and kayaks and, in addition to the Norwegian market; we also export to several countries in Europe. Our boats are suited for trip and exercise use, and our sea kayaks are also used for long expeditions.

Rudder Solution

Hasle Excursion 500 is equipped with a Smart Track rudder, which is one of the most recognized sea kayak rudders on the market. It moves 180 degrees from upper to lower position. It is easy to operate and you use minimal force and movement. Locking in the lower position is spring-loaded; the rudder doesn’t come out of position due to speed but works away for running in for example shallow water.

Hasle Excursion 500 is a newly-developed sea kayak from Arne Hasle as. It is the lightest sea kayak in polyethylene of its kind on the market. With its 23.5 kg it can be compared with composite boats. Due to its sandwich construction stiffness is achieved and the

polyethylene material takes care of the impact strength and resistance. The kayak is steady and the hull’s new form with small fore body gives extra speed.

Cockpit

The back support and seat are one movable unit and the angle of the back support can be adjusted. It provides good lumbar support, but springs well at the same time after you are in the rolling position.

Practical

The kayak is equipped with water-tight bulkheads in the front and rear. It has an anatomically formed seat with adjustable lumbar back support. The foot board is moved along a bottom rail profile and can be locked in different positions without it being necessary to subsequently adjust rudder lines. The kayak is equipped with the Smart Track rudder.
