Sigma Elitar is improved modification of Sigma 4 aircraft due to shift from handicraft (single piece) production to factory (series) production.
Due to shift to series production the following changes we made in the process of the aircraft manufacturing:
- conductor and stack production;
- manufactured products are double quality controlled;
- all fiberglass parts are thermally processed in electronically controlled heating cabinet;
- due to vacuum treatment technology improvement weight of each wing planes was decreased by 12 kg;
- landing gear manufacturing technology change allowed to improve take off and landing characteristics, and decrease landing gear leg weight by 2.8 kg, and also absorb landing shock;
- all vital components laboratory testing for conformity;
- standards table reduction due to technological processes specification from 3800 to 910 items;
- parts interchangeability due to conduct and stack production assembling;
- connection through bushings with class openings of all wearing surfaces, allowing to increase flight life of the aircraft.
