A. TANK BARREL

1. Material
Aluminium alloy X-TRAL 728.

2. Shell Finish
Tank barrel outer surface painted. According to the customer's requirement.

3. Tank Profile
Ellipse. Maximum profile design that maximizes volumetric capacity whilst achieving a low centre of gravity.
Round welding seam in the middle when max. Length of tank more than 6m.

4. Design Code / Vapour Testing
Tank material, thickness, dish end and baffle follow ADR 2001.
Hydrostatic test to 5 psi (35 Kpa) on each compartment.

5. Capacity
30300Litres plus max 5% Ullage. The minimum ullage required is 3% litres per compartment.

Front to rear.

7. Bulkhead & End Plate
7mm alum 5083 O dished bulkhead
All single heads dished and flanged.
All internal bulkheads have exclusive design sealing ring.
Degassing plug 3/8" on top & bottom of each bulkhead.
End Plate should be made by intact-plate without joint/connection.
Bulkhead plate is allowed to be jointed plate by two plates.

8. Baffle / Surge Heads
7mm alum 5083 O dished surge head. With (1) 500mm centre man way (2) 100mm diameter top drain hole (3) 300mm diameter bottom drain hole (4)
50mm diameter at 3 & 9 O'clock position.
Baffle plate is allowed to be jointed plate by two plates.

9. Main Beam
Standard features of a full-length main frame and diaphragm cross-members dissipate
Vertical, transverse and torsion stresses evenly into dished bulkhead.

10. Roll Over Coaming
Extrusion aluminium alloy in inverted 'U' section with full length sliding rail for anti-fall protection system.
Top of the roll over coaming to be at least 25mm above any fitting and 3/8" degassing plug at the front-top & rear-bottom.

11. Welding
TIG/MIG welding process for aluminium and electric arc welding for steel.
B. TANK FITTINGS AND PIPING
1. Manholes
One per compartment, 20" manhole cover with Fill/emergency vents, pressure vacuum vents, overfill holes and vapour transfer vent hole.
2. Capacity Indicators
One per compartment, ullage marker to be installed in accordance to the regulation (not more than 100mm from centre of tank). The ullage marker is according to THT standard product.
3. Pressure Vacuum Vent
One per compartment, roll-over type incorporates with manhole.
4. Cleanout

5. Vapour Vent
One per compartment, sequential pneumatic control air vent
6. Vapour Collect Hood
Aluminium vapour hood connected to the curb side coaming rail by 3" hose. Hose clips as need.
7. Vapour Recovery Piping
4" aluminium internal pipe from LHS roll over coaming through MID tank to rear of the discharge area.
8. Vapour Recovery
One per tanker, with pneumatic vapour interlock valve and dust cap. Install at rear of the discharge area.

Adaptor
9. Vapour Dump Vent
One per tanker, 3" coming vent air operated. Installed at the rear of roll over coaming, vented to atmosphere. Dump vent close when the vapour adaptor is activated.
Vapour dump vent install inside of coaming.
10. Emergency
Valve
One per compartment. 4" ordinary aluminium, pneumatic controlled emergency valve.
Flange coupling to discharge pipe, BUNA-N seal & steel trim. Slash shield vortex breaker over each foot valve.
11. Piping
4" alum discharge pipe to the curb side of trailer with minimum number of bends. Piping to be hydro-statically tested. All piping bends from formed pipe, or with minimum number of prefabricated bends. The piping slope toward front at angle of 2° (minimum 1.5° )
